Hi,
Myself and a group of friends are hoping to come to Lviv from London for a long weekend in March or April 2008.
I last travelled this route in 2004 and we flew with Ryanair to Rzeszow, caught the train to Premsyl, then changed onto the Ukrainian train to Lviv.
I was hoping to do the same this time, but the train website (www.db.de) only shows one train a day across the border, leaving at 19.25, arriving at 23.46. I am sure there used to be three trains?
Is the train service still disrupted by the accident from the summer?
As there will be a group of us I thought the train will be easier than trying to catch the bus across the border. Is this the most straightforward way?
Also, does anyone have any up to date prices for the train journey?
Many thanks
Andy

Dear Andy,
Yes, this is true that there is only one train going from Premsyl to Lviv, its number is — 809 and it departures at 18:15 and arrives at 22:24 in Lviv. Also if you have some problems with this train you can try to buy the tickets
to the direct train #52K Kiev - Wraclaw, departing at 15:48 from Rzeszow and arriving at 23:46 at Lviv in case it is an option for you.
I will not recommend you to go by bus as it is always delaied at the border for many hours and it is not a good idea trying to catch it.
The ticket for the #809 train Premsyl-Lviv costs around 24$ and for the #52K train Kiev-Wraclaw — 43$.
I think you should recheck this information close to your arrival in case price policy of the train service may change.
